Some sense of humor is necessary... another thing that Americans do a lot, I mean, a looot is to pay compliments. To live/be raised here is like to be inside self-help book. Everyone can really succeed.
The other day at the park there were some kids learning soccer (yeah, now they seem to like it) and EVERYTIME the boy touched the ball, the coach said "great, awesome, well done..." Can you imagine that? In Brazil to receive such a compliment you must be a Ronaldinho in the beginning of the career.
